Just remember your tile choice will affect your labor cost.
Bathrooms typically will require a bullnose trim border. Trim pieces can get costly. So when choosing tile consider your trim pieces first.
Unleveled Floors may Require Floor Leveler.

Tile Flooring Installation — The Right Way

Most contractors rush tile installs. We don't.
Pro GC LLC installs tile properly and straight. Period. Our pride in craftsmanship separates us from the pack—and it shows in every finished floor.

Preparation: The Work Nobody Sees But Matters Most
Before we lay a single tile, we protect your home:

  • Carpet shield over carpeted areas
  • Rosin paper on hard surfaces
  • Subfloor prep: Remove all old material down to bare subfloor
  • Squeak repair: Screw down any loose or squeaky floor sections
This isn't glamorous work—but it prevents callbacks and protects your property during installation.

Underlayment Selection: We Match Material to Application
There's no "one size fits all." Different projects demand different underlayments.

Waterproofing & Leveling Options
RedGard Liquid Waterproofing A liquid rubber polymer membrane applied beneath tile. We offer this as an optional upgrade—critical for bathrooms, showers, and moisture-prone areas. Adds cost, but prevents water intrusion failures later.
Floor Leveling (When Needed) If your substrate is uneven, we apply a 6,000 PSI liquid floor leveler. This is optional due to added cost—but necessary if floors aren't level. Installing tile over an uneven substrate guarantees lippage and cracking.

Layout & Installation
No house is perfectly square. We account for that.
  1. Square up the layout—measure twice, cut once
  2. Mix cement-based thin-set mortar to proper consistency
  3. Set tiles into thin-bed, cleaning excess as we go
  4. Grout installation after thin-set cures
  5. Sealing option (after 3 days)—keeps grout looking new for years. Highly recommended for high-traffic or wet areas

Heated Floor Systems
We install both types:
  • Low-voltage electric radiant heating
  • Hydronic (water-based) radiant floor heating
Adds comfort—and project cost—but worth it for bathrooms, kitchens, and main living areas during colder months.
